Privacy Policy

This policy describes how vKurved Flight Designs LLC (“vKurved,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information on vkurved.com and in the ForgeVAM service, including the desktop tracker. ForgeVAM is flight-simulation software for virtual airlines.

Information we collect

We collect the details needed to run the service and to support you:

• Account details you or your virtual airline submit, such as name, email address, airline, and role.
• Messages you send to support@vkurved.com, support@forgevam.com, or info@vkurved.com.
• Simulated flight information the desktop tracker sends when a pilot is signed in, such as aircraft, route, and times. That information posts only to the virtual airline for the login code the pilot used.
• Payment records when you buy a plan: the fact of the charge, the amount, the currency (United States dollars), and the email or name the payment company shares with us. The payment company processes the card or other payment method. We do not store full card numbers.

This website does not require an account and does not set its own cookies. The pages load a typeface from Google Fonts. That request sends your IP address and browser information to Google as part of delivering the font files.

Where a service refuses access because of trade restrictions, the IP address of the connection is used for that check. The check uses location. It does not use citizenship, name, or ancestry. A record is not kept of every refused visit.

Who decides

For this website, for billing, and for messages you send us, we decide what personal information we collect and why. For a virtual airline’s operation, that airline decides who may join and what operational and flight data the service stores. We host that data only so we can provide ForgeVAM to that airline. A pilot who wants to access, correct, or delete data held for an airline should ask that airline. The airline can ask us to carry out the request.

How we use it

We use this information to:

• host the virtual airline’s operation and show flight data to that airline;
• answer support and billing questions;
• charge for a paid plan, issue a refund, and keep tax and accounting records;
• protect the service, investigate misuse, and follow the law.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for advertising on other companies’ sites, and we do not use it to show you ads. Airline staff can see the operational and flight data their own airline is configured to show. We share information with the payment company that processes a charge, with Google when these pages load a typeface, and with a service provider who hosts or supports ForgeVAM, only so each of them can do that work for us. We also share information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep account and flight data while the virtual airline’s account is open. If you ask us to delete an account, we delete or de-identify the personal information we no longer need. We keep payment records for as long as tax, accounting, and dispute rules require.

Children

ForgeVAM is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email support@vkurved.com and we will delete it.

Where the information is handled

vKurved Flight Designs LLC is a United States company. When you use ForgeVAM from outside the United States, the information described above is processed in the United States.

European Economic Area and the United Kingdom

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this section also applies.

We use account and flight information to provide the service that you or your airline asked for. We use payment records because tax and accounting rules require them. We use connection details for security, for the trade-restriction check described above, and, on these pages, to load the typeface from Google. Those uses are needed to run the service and keep it safe.

You may ask to access your personal information, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or receive a copy of it. You may object where we are not using the information to provide the service or to follow the law. You may complain to the data protection authority where you live. A request about an airline’s operational data is handled as described under “Who decides.” When you use ForgeVAM from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the information in this policy is handled in the United States.

Your requests

Email support@vkurved.com to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to close an account. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you. We may retain a payment record when we have to. A virtual airline’s administrator can also ask us about data held for that airline. If the information belongs to an airline’s operation, we work with that airline’s administrator on the request.

Where a United States state privacy law applies to you, you may appeal a refusal by replying to our email. An agent may send the request if you show that the agent may act for you. We will not treat you worse for making a request.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date.
